Who may use Reverbot
Reverbot is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use it, and you confirm that in the app before your first answer; Souls, its AI companions, asks again before it opens. The AI services Reverbot runs on require it: Google's API terms, for one, do not allow the API to be used in an app likely to be reached by anyone under 18. Answers and every voice you hear are generated by AI, not by a person.
Subscription — Reverbot
The Reverbot subscription is auto-renewable. It starts with a 3-day free trial, then renews at $9.99/month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial or current period ends. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's App Store account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Bring your own AI key
Reverbot connects to a third-party AI provider (Google, OpenAI, Anthropic or xAI) using an API key you supply. You are responsible for any fees, usage limits, and terms of that provider. Some AI runs on Reverbot's own connection instead: translation, the Reverbot voice, and a one-time batch of answers — 5 before you subscribe and 50 when you subscribe, which do not renew. The Reverbot subscription unlocks the app's features; beyond those, it does not include or pay for third-party AI usage.
Phone calls
Phone calls are off until you turn them on, need a signed-in account (not a guest), and go only to US and Canadian numbers, from your own verified number. They are prepaid: you add money through the App Store (Apple keeps its commission; the rest is added to your balance), and each call is charged what it costs Reverbot, settled to the carrier's figure after the call. Verifying your number is a call too, charged the same way. A call ends when the balance runs out. Money on your account does not expire, but it is not cash: it can only pay for calls, refunds of a purchase are Apple's to give, and deleting your account deletes the balance with it. Phone calls made in Reverbot cannot reach 911 or any emergency service — the app hands 911, 988 and the other emergency and service numbers it recognises to your phone's own dialler, and any other emergency number has to be dialled there too.
With Both of you, Reverbot asks the other person to press 1 before it listens to them, and stops when they say “stop listening”. You agree not to get around that — not to use Reverbot to listen to, record or transcribe anyone who has not agreed — and not to use phone calls for harassment, robocalls, telemarketing or anything unlawful. You are responsible for your calls and for what you do with what Reverbot tells you.
Acceptable use
Use Reverbot lawfully and at your own discretion. Answers are AI-generated and may be inaccurate — do not rely on them for medical, legal, financial, or other professional decisions. Reverbot is provided “as is,” without warranties, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Privacy
Your use of Reverbot is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
