Changes sync to your phone the next time the app comes to the foreground.
A phone switches only to a provider it can use: Gemini always, the others once their key is on that phone. Keys never leave the phone, so they are added there, in Settings → AI & API Keys.
Job, Personal Assistant and Home Control are wake phrases, below, not modes. Custom Conversation takes effect only on a phone with a scenario activated. Room picks up the people around you; Solo hears only your voice. The modes that listen to other people switch the microphone to Room while they run.
Off, only the wake phrases listen. Picking any mode on the phone turns it back on.
Short beeps when listening starts and stops, and for done, undo and cancel.
Plays your translated sentence out loud for them to hear. Off, Reverbot tells you what to say in their language and listens while you say it.
Resets to on each time you start Two-way.
Says what to do at each step. Detect who's speaking is set on the phone only.
Reverbot Voice is Google's Chirp 3 HD when the phone is signed in to Google, and WaveNet when it isn't; each voice has its counterpart in the other family, so either list works.
Left blank, the phone keeps its own.
Your default speed, from half to double. A mode or a soul given a speed of its own on the phone keeps it.
Say the phrase, then what you want done — hands-free, alongside whatever mode is running.
Left empty, a phone keeps the Job or Personal Assistant phrase it already has.
Left empty, it follows the active location — “hey home” for a home, “hey office” for an office. Home Control is coming soon: it is waiting on Google's review of Reverbot's sign-in.
One setting shared by Vicinity and Two-way. The other person's language is worked out from what they say.
Style: Sincere is warm and honest, with no tactics. Charming is sincere, plus real conversational craft. Daring teases and challenges — higher risk, higher reward.
The same profile as Settings → About you on the phone: used by Flirt, by Custom Conversations with “Use my profile” on, and by the souls you let read your bio. Fill in as much or as little as you like.
A new Partner or Crush soul is the opposite sex to yours — unless you set a sexuality in the app, which stays on your phone.
Time you have to say “undo” or “never mind” after a task is added. The next command confirms it.
Say “add task” and then nothing: this is how long Reverbot waits before the prompt beep, and after the same again it gives up.
Upload documents here and your phone picks them up next time you open the app — they become searchable in Job and Personal Assistant modes.

Reverbot answers you out loud through your earbuds, hands-free. Put in your earbuds, tap the big circle to start listening, and just talk. Tap again to stop. It works with the screen locked.
The Listening mode pills are a pick-one set — the mode Reverbot runs, one at a time. The first row is Questions, Dictionary and AI Meeting; the second is Translate Vicinity, Translate 2-way and Flirt; the third is the Voice Changer switch and Custom Conversation. Questions can be lit together with either translation pill: tap Questions while one is selected to have questions answered too, and tap it again to stop. Touch and hold any pill, then tap Settings, for that mode's options.
Wake phrases aren't on the main screen: turn on Job, Assistant, Home Control or, once Life Journal is on, the Life Journal Listener in Settings → Wake Phrases. The top bar has Help at the left, the gear at the right, and five buttons between them, in the order you choose: TRANSLATE (translate with someone nearby who has Reverbot too — each of you hears the other in your own earbuds), AI MEETING (the Meeting screen), SOULS, the phone (call anyone on Reverbot by username, over the internet, or call a phone number) and Chat. Home Control is built and waiting on Google's review of Reverbot's sign-in, so its settings say Coming soon rather than pretending to work. Two switches ride along with a mode instead of replacing it: Answer questions too answers questions out loud while a meeting, a translation or a Custom Conversation runs, and Translate too translates the room during an AI Meeting. Every one of them is written up at reverbot.ai/support.
Turn these on in Settings → Wake Phrases to run tasks hands-free. Say the wake phrase, then your command:
Reverbot is a 3-day free trial, then $9.99/month, billed through your Apple ID. It buys the app — every mode, live translation and the Reverbot voice — rather than the answers: those come from an AI key of your own. Subscribing gives you 50 free questions on Reverbot's AI, once, and renewals add none. Adding a key is how you keep asking after that; with one, answers use your provider's allowance. Before subscribing, translations still use your one-time free questions.
